Hooters of America trades as Hooters at 270 locations nationwide. The restaurants occupy spaces of 4,000 sq.ft. to 6,000 sq.ft. in freestanding facilities and end caps. Plans call for 50 opeinings in the coming 18 months. Expansion will take place nationwide and internationally. The company is franchising, and leases running 10 years plus two five-year options are typical.
